Target age: 8-12 years, siblings welcome

Children move between a series of stations around the library – directed by library staff.

At each station, one of 6 different guests is situated, offering book signings and a simple relevant activity/craft/mini writing activity

Welcome to Country given by Richard Davis
David Malouf is a Lifetime Ambassador for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) and will speak about what the Foundation does  to reduce the disadvantage experienced by children in very remote indigenous communities across Australia and their focus on improving literacy rates and instilling a lifelong love of reading.
Sally Forth – a local 4 part a cappella group with a selection of eclectic (mostly) unaccompanied songs
